Paris Demonstrates the Quays to Sliving
“Paris Demonstrates the Quay to Sliving” is a spoof on the old 50’s etiquette PSAs. However, instead of following along with the outdated, conservative guidelines that were once considered acceptable, we are flipping it on its head and using it as a means to show female empowerment, rebellion, and unwavering confidence - in an over-the-top, high-fashion way.
Narrated in a very 50’s, transatlantic, optical-recording style, we hear a male voice list out a series of etiquette lessons that Paris is very comically acting out the exact opposite. The audience is in on it and it’s us against the narrator.
